Findability and Discoverability
Findability means that it should be easy for someone to locate data, information, or knowledge. In today’s world, findability typically involves relying on search. If findability involves searching for a specific document or answer, discoverability is the opposite — it’s consuming information and knowledge that has been selected for us. Discoverability can be driven by using machine learning to help surface sought-after answers, products and information. Great customer experiences insist these two work in kind.
