We’re looking for an ambitious, collaborative, and enthusiastic Technical Trainer to swiftly guide software developers and operations people to fluency and self-sufficiency with Solr and Fusion. Our team provides technical training for our customers in the Fortune 1000, and our goal is to ensure that they are leveraging our tools to their full potential and consistently following best practices. Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting on-site training events primarily in the US, with travel up to 75% of the time
Observing and evaluating results of training programs
Determining the overall effectiveness of training programs and making improvements
Assisting the Content Development team in refining and curating courseware
Working closely with the R&D and Client Delivery teams to stay abreast of current product features, real-life deployment considerations, and relevant use cases.
Required Experience and Skills
3+ years of experience in a classroom teaching or technical training role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to deliver technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
Solid understanding of teaching methodology
