Erik Hatcher, Senior Solution Architect, Lucidworks. Erik is a co-author of Lucene in Action as well as co-author of Java Development with Ant and Java Development with Ant . Erik is an active member of the Lucene community, the Lucene PMC and the Apache Software Foundation.

Grant Ingersoll, Chief Technology Officer, Lucidworks. Grant is a Lucene and Solr committer, and a co-founder of the Apache Mahout machine learning project. Grant’s prior experience includes work in natural language processing and information retrieval. He is the author of Taming Text.
