Relevancy Hacks for Ecommerce

The Lucene/Solr Revolution session, “Relevancy Hacks for eCommerce,” is aimed at providing an understanding of how the ranking of documents works with Solr and ways to improve relevancy in your search application. During this session, Varun Thacker, Search Engineer at Unbxd, will cover how a user gets query parsed in Solr and the default scoring that comes with it. He will show examples of how to customize scoring to work better with your dataset, how to add different relevancy signals into your ranking algorithm, and how to customize results for your top N queries.

This intermediate level session will take place from 11:55-12:40 on Thursday, November 7. Click here for more details.
