Solr and PHP

A quick shout-out to Israel Ekpo of Walt Disney Resorts who gave a presentation (unseen by me) at Zend’s PHP conference this week, listed below.

One of the advantages of Lucidworks Enterprise is that a great majority of the field and configuration settings in files like solrconfig.xml or schema.xml can be set from robustly the ReST API; the ReST API can also be used to manage indexing new documents, and more. All of which blends in quite nicely with PHP code. Many thanks to Israel for this useful presentation.
