Here’s what Keri had to say about joining Lucidworks and her vision for the future of search:

Q&A with Keri Rich:

  1. Welcome to Lucidworks, Keri! Tell us a bit about your background and what drew you to this role.

Keri Rich: I’ve always been fascinated by how AI can solve real-world problems. I started my career in healthcare tech, building AI solutions, and even spent some time as a UX designer focused on AI-powered experiences. Over the years, I’ve held product roles in a variety of industries, and I’m consistently drawn to companies that are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI. Lucidworks is doing just that, especially with the innovations planned for the coming months. I was also incredibly impressed with the team here — everyone is so collaborative and passionate.

  1. Lucidworks has been at the forefront of enterprise search innovation. What are your initial thoughts on the current state of the company and its product offerings?

K.R.: Lucidworks is uniquely positioned to deliver truly groundbreaking search solutions. We have an amazing group of clients who are eager to collaborate and provide feedback, which is invaluable in shaping our products. I’m incredibly optimistic about the future and can’t wait to see what we accomplish next year.

  1. The world of search is rapidly evolving with the rise of AI and large language models. How do you see these technologies shaping the future of search, particularly in the B2B space?

K.R.: AI and large language models are transforming how we search for and find information. Search is becoming more conversational, allowing users to ask questions and receive more relevant results. Businesses that can leverage these technologies to create natural, intuitive search experiences will undoubtedly thrive.

  1. Lucidworks recently launched Neural Hybrid Search and continues to invest in AI-powered solutions. Can you give us a glimpse into the exciting developments on the product roadmap? What can our customers look forward to?

K.R.: Neural Hybrid Search is just the beginning! We’re developing cutting-edge generative AI capabilities that will deliver even more powerful and relevant search experiences. We’re also introducing powerful new commerce offerings to empower merchandisers to craft exceptional customer experiences. This is going to be a year of incredible innovation at Lucidworks.

  1. What are your top priorities as you step into this leadership role at Lucidworks?

K.R.: My focus is on executing our product roadmap and ensuring we deliver solutions that provide real value to our clients. I’m also committed to building a strong product team that collaborates effectively across the organization.

  1. Any final thoughts you’d like to share with our customers and partners?

K.R.: I’m incredibly grateful for all of our clients and partners. Everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with has been so open and eager to share feedback and bounce ideas around. I really enjoy that collaboration. I think it’s a special thing about how Lucidworks operates, and I’m looking forward to continuing that.
